Mnemosyne is a eulogy by a grieving and nostalgic man for a mysterious girl he met when he was desperate and anxious about life. The meeting brought hope and since then, they briefly enjoyed each other’s company till the girl’s complicated past and the unfairness of life took over and grabbed her away.

Remy Ryumugabe is a filmmaker & visual artist, He has worked on different award-winning film projects. Since 2015, His works have been selected and screened in different film festival/Gallery around the world like Dhaka independent and short film festival(Bangladesh), Horn experimental film festival(Israel), 60 Seconds or Less Video Festival(USA), International Kansk Video Festival(Russia), WNDX Festival of the moving image(Canada), the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur (Switzerland), Uppsala international short film festival(Sweden), Dobra - Festival Internacional de Cinema Experimental(Brazil), BIDEODROMO International Experimental Film and Video Festival(Spain), Festival Internacional Signos da Noite (Portugal), Galerie Imane Farès (France), Fribourg International Film Festival(Switzerland) etc..

He's also co-directing his first feature docu-fiction film titled "Kinema" (In post-production) that has been selected at Takmil post-production workshop of 31st Carthage International Film Festival and He's working on different film projects and other related projects. He's the co-founder of an independent production house KIRURI MFN (www.kirurimfn.com), He's also the curator/ Co-founder of a cine-club titled 250 Film Experiment Cine-Club and he works part-time as a curator/programmer for Mashariki African film festival.
