MEJOR SORDO is a free-impro and sound exploration duo born in 2022 in Zaragoza, formed by contemporary percussionist Luis Azcona and sound artist Joel Rico.
Together, they perform a synergy of live electronics, noise, field recordings and ethereal atmospheres with post-instrumentalism, drumset and everyday objects treated through the industrial sound exploration, impregnating all of it with an aura of dark spirituality.
The duo releases their music along different volumes: self-produced EPs characterized by a unique conception and use of electronics and percussion. Recording each time means, once again, rethinking the instrument, the approach to it and the sonic qualities to be obtained.
