The piece “Melma” (2023), in stereo audio format, is a soundscape that evokes the state of mind of those walking and sinking in the swamp of corruption, where moral inertia grants no repentance. The piece starts with a melodic cell that is decomposed, deconstructed, everything is placed in a rhythmic cage. The composition flows on sound bands obtained with reverberated distortions. The backbone of the bands is obtained from a field recording of a religious procession (S. Efisio – Cagliari, Sardinia, Italy), treated with granulation and loop delay. LanD ExcapE is an electronic music project born from an idea of Gavino Ganau (Tempio Pausania, Italy, 1966), a sardinian visual artist. LanD ExcapE currently features Giovanni Dibeltulu (Sassari, Italy, 1967) in the role of co-writer.Our piece “Mar Morto” (2023), self-produced, was selected in a Call for contributions organized by the Gwaith Sŵn collective and broadcast on Resonance FM and Resonance Extra (UK). The same piece was broadcast by Neu Radio (Bologna, Italy), Radio Popolare (Milan, Italy), Radio Blackout (Turin, Italy), Silent Radio (Brescia, Italy).With Melma (2023), self-produced, they were selected among “LES ARTISTES RADIOPHONIQUES DE L’ÉDITION 2023!” of the “60 Secondes Radio” competition (Canada). The same piece was selected for the “60X60 CALL FOR WORKS 2023”, organized by Vox Novus (USA): Melma has been included in a mix of 60 compositions that will serve as the soundtrack to a one-hour multimedia dance show, which was held on September 28th at the Stoner West Dance Studio Theater in Slippery Rock (Pennsylvania, USA).Finally, Melma was broadcast by Silent Radio (Brescia, Italy), Radioarte (Siena, Italy), Radio Città Aperta (Rome, Italy), Radiocoop (Bologna, Italy), CHOQ Radio (Montréal, Canada), Diffusion FM (Sydney, Australia), Majjem Radio (Netherlands), KOWS Radio (California, USA).
