Fhunyue Gao works with multidisciplinary methods in the field of scenic arts since 2010. From dance to music, through film, cuisine, theatre and organisation of cultural events.
Musically on crossroads with experimental electronic music, weird pop and spoken word, the theremin and buchla synthesizer are her longtime trusted compagnons.
Co-director of the company RobinRobin with Annalena Fröhlich; collaborator of the music duos Gao Kacirek and Junee; co-organizer of Festival Face Z (since 2022), collaborator in the project Bongo Joe (CH) from 2014-2022, worked with a variety of different artists and companies under others: Thom Luz, Dorit Chrysler, Bern Ballet, Scottish Dance Theatre, Unplush, Peeping Tom, Damien Jalet, L’Eclair. Awarded with the Zürcher Filmpreis 2022 for her play in the short film Chute by Nora Longatti.

RöstiBrücke Electroacoustic Cabaret
Annual translinguistic exchange programme for sound artists in Switzerland since 2022. A
series of polymorphic performances that offer the opportunity to experiment with new sounds and new spaces. As in a cabaret, the audience attends a series of performances, blending genres and sensibilities, with sound poetry as the only common thread.
