An introductory work based on experiences from ocean. This deals with our cultural discourse in the space of our belief, our ideas. This work deals with our existence in front of an ocean. It grows with an objective of 'nothingness' to a great discovery. This discovery will intrigue questions on our 'Romantic' ideology which would open up a new dimension of our living.

Major Recognitions:
All India Youth Art Award (on the occasion of the birth centenary of Jamini Roy), 1987.
Achieved the ‘UNESCO-ASCHBERG bursaries pour les Artistes’(Paris) and Stayed and Worked in Senegal.(1996)
Dak’Art’96: I participated at a Biennale exhibition of Africa and International Art organised by the Government of Senegal, 1996.
Worked and stayed in Ile de Goree (an island near West coast of Africa), 1996.
Honored by the award ‘The Outstanding Young Person in Fine Arts for the Year 2003’ given by Bengal Chambers of Commerce and Jaycees, India, 2003.
Invited to visit and to interact with the faculties of the Savannah College Of Art and Design(SCAD), Georgia, U.S.A, 2006.
Selected as an international fellow artist and worked as a resident artist in Vermont Studio Center. U.S.A. 2008
Invited to conduct a workshop in Alfrink College in The Hague, Netherlands- 2016
