The rails bend under the weight of corrupted frequencies.
Trains don’t carry bodies, but decayed data packets.
Each track is a line of code collapsing on itself,
each station a loop with no exit.
The loudspeaker crackles commands in overlapping tongues,
but no one listens: passengers are pixel shadows,
remnants of failed systems.
The timetable flashes impossible hours:
departures already gone, arrivals that will never come.
Transit is a sentence:
you enter, but you never leave.
You travel endlessly through sonic and visual glitches,
while the invisible authority
records, archives, forgets.
HYPERGLITCH TRANSIT AUTHORITY
offers no destinations,
only the certainty of error as the single direction.
Matteo Campulla (Iglesias, Sardinia -1982) is an interdisciplinary artist operating at the edges of image and language, dissecting their ruins.
Through digital media, glitch art, and textual manipulations, Campulla constructs visual and narrative environments where machines break down and errors become language.
His work moves across textual performances, video art, and unstable archives, aiming not to restore but to amplify the noise of fractures: every fragment, every interference stands as evidence of an inevitable collapse.
In "Poems for Broken Machines", his writing manifests as disintegrating code, algorithmic poetry, and vital waste, charting an atlas of failed machines, unstable bodies, and shattered identities.
He does not seek answers: he generates collective hallucinations, inducing short circuits.
Campulla lives and works in Milan, where he continues to sabotage the margins of language and image.
