The video Fremde tells of memories that are blurred out and intangible. Familiar sounds are meeting familiar images, but due to speed and extreme proximity it all remains uncatchable.
Julia Helene Scholl (*1992) studies at State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart since 2016 working with analogue and digital photography, videography and using photographs from her own archive to process. Her works tell about the longing for closeness, about the coincidence of the past and her own inaccurate memories.
